An Early Train to Mysore

There is something lovely about leaving early enough that the trip feels like a secret.

The train was quiet, the station coffee did its job, and Mysore greeted us before the heat had fully arrived. We walked a lot, ate a little too much, and still had enough energy left to want to do it all again.

Absolutely. There is a lot to be said for a day that starts before sunrise.
